The following questions are from a friend of mine after having read the book “dying to be me” by Anita Moorjani. I have made an attempt to answer the questions to the best of my understanding. I make no claim to being totally accurate nor do I claim to know exactly what God is thinking. I can only base my answers on my experiences and hope that I can come close to the truth.
I doubt that we cause our own diseases, but I do feel that we can be facilitators of some diseases. I suspect that our mental attitude as well as stress can be contributing factors in blocking our immune system from fully doing its job. There are mysteries about the human system that we still don’t understand. It does not appear to me that a positive attitude alone will prevent us from ever getting a disease.
It appears to me that there are many causes of diseases, some internal and some external. The cause of many diseases is still a great cosmic mystery. I believe that there is much we can do to prevent diseases, such as the foods we eat, our mental attitude, the exercise we get, and I’m sure many others.
Not completely. I know there are folks that say we are only ill because we do not believe properly. I have known of many such people over the years, and it all sounds good at the time, but they all seem to eventually get sick and die. It seems obvious to me that we were not meant to inhabit this physical body forever. It seems futile to think that we can freeze our body and have it reconstituted and revived at a later date. This just doesn’t seem to be the divine plan.
Oddly enough, I’m okay with that. I’m at the stage in life where I recognize that I develop more and more limitations and pains that will never be completely healed. This does not mean that we should give up and not try to improve the situation. As we get older we should realize that the time will come when we must make that transition called death. To my way of thinking, it doesn’t have to be a fearful event. I believe I have seen the other side and it seems to me that we will be in a better place and free of our aches and pains. The key word here is acceptance. I feel that I’ve had a good run and I’m hoping that the next phase will also be a good run.
I think it would be more accurate to say that people behave badly because they have not learned the joy of love. We are free to make choices and those choices are quite often made because of the environment in which we find ourselves. If we haven’t learned to love, we are apt to make bad choices. If a person does not have love internal, no amount of external love will keep them from making bad choices. However, external love might very well cause a person to develop internal love and change their behavior from bad to good.
It might be said that one might experience external love and thus, be motivated to develop internal love.
Religious dogma often wants to separate people into good or evil and assign the good ones to God and the evil ones to Satan. In my adventures into the spirit realms this does not seem to be the case. It seems that we are all a part of God and Satan is perhaps a myth.
It seems much more evident that we are all created as a gift from God for the purpose of developing a spiritual being that is worthy of this gift. It appears that God established reincarnation as a means of gaining the experiences necessary to motivate us in the direction that God intended. However, not everyone believes in reincarnation, making it difficult for them to understand the workings of spiritual development.
We have been so indoctrinated into the belief of judgment and punishments that we cannot comprehend a plan that allows multiple chances for spiritual development.
We are all animals in a physical world with animal instincts such as hatred and revenge and greed and many other features that have a negative connotation. We are free to make the choice as to whether we wish to operate in animal mode or spiritual mode. Sometimes we choose animal mode and sometimes we choose spiritual mode.
It seems nonsensical to envision a God intelligent enough to create all the magnificent things around us and yet exhibit the animal characteristics of man. Why would a God so intelligent create living beings and place them in circumstances deemed worthy of punishment involving torture for any period of time or for eternity.
I have been shown my last life as a soldier in World War I assigned to carry out an assassination. I can’t imagine a loving God condoning such an action, and yet he did not see the necessity to stop it. The question is ”should that action have condemned to me to eternal punishment”? It appears that I have been given another chance in this life to atone for the wrongs I have committed in previous lives. Had I not seen this previous life, I would perhaps feel as others do that such an action might be worthy of eternal punishment.
So we must be very careful what judgments we make of others as we may well be guilty of things just as bad. It doesn’t matter if you don’t believe in reincarnation, it does not change the truth. To me, reincarnation is simply a part of the SCIENCE OF GOD. As much as religion tries to define the truth it will never change the SCIENCE OF GOD. We would do better to seek to understand the intentions of God rather than fabricating a belief system designed to satisfy our wants.
It appears to me that God has provided a means for us to fulfill his intentions for us in a way that everyone can be successful. It seems important to me to look back at where we’ve been and to look ahead to where we are going so as to make some judgment as to how we wish to conduct ourselves. Reincarnation allows us to look backward and assess our journey and make plans to correct any mistakes that we may have made. Astral projection allows us to look forward and plan the type of journey that will best suit our needs.
The SCIENCE OF GOD entails many COSMIC MYSTERIES and it behooves us to investigate these mysteries so that we may learn the truth.
