Science is of God, Religion is of Man
As the title implies, there is a difference between the SCIENCE OF GOD and the RELIGION OF MAN.
The purpose of this story is to differentiate between the intentions of GOD and the unnecessary distractions man has incorporated into religions.
The intention of this story is not so much to be critical of religion as it is to put religion into the proper perspective. Religion plays a very important role in our lives and is needed to encourage mankind to follow the intentions of GOD.
The SCIENCE OF GOD is not just the physical science of the universe but also the science of all of the realms of creation.
Ones purpose today hinges on experiences in PAST LIVES and how the present life will shape future lives.
Therefore, REINCARNATION and ASTRAL PROJECTION are extremely important elements of the SCIENCE OF GOD. Unfortunately, many religions choose to either deny or ignore these elements. Thus we have a large part of the population wandering through life in darkness, groping for a purpose.
ROSEMARY SAYS “God needs neither praise nor pageantry” and yet these are pivotal elements of most religions. God knows how great he is and incessant praise has little meaning except to give one a feeling of friendship with God.
A nun of the 1600’s describes her life as “we dress in vile clothing, always go barefoot, get up in the middle of the night, sleep on hard boards, fast continually, and eat crass, poor, and lenten food, and spend the major part of the day reciting the Divine Office and in long mental prayers, and how all our recreation, pleasure, and happiness is to serve, love, and give pleasure to the beloved Lord, attempting to imitate his holy virtues, to mortify and vilify ourselves, to suffer contempt, hunger, thirst, heat, cold, and other inconveniences for his love.”
Pageantry includes fancy costumes and elaborate rituals. Most of these are unnecessary and distracting in learning the lessons of life. A look at the proceedings at the Vatican will serve as an example of what not to do.
Instead, religions should be concentrating on finding out what Gods intentions are and what mankind should be doing to fulfill the expectations of God.
An example of this is the process of aging. It is quite apparent that Gods intention is for all human and animal creations to age and die. The duty of mankind is to study this intention and discover the truth of why it was set up in this way in the first place and how to fit it into the scheme of life. There has to be a useful purpose in growing old and we need to understand how this helps us to mature and move forward in spiritual development.
There is a myriad of questions that need to be addressed in the context of religion and this will help to bring the various religions closer together if they work on finding the truth of these answers. In the end there will be only one religion as there is only one TRUTH.
The distractions within religions simply delay finding the vital TRUTHS.
One has only to look around to discover the many intentions of God. The hard part is to discover why God has such intentions and what mankind has to do to learn the intended lessons.
The closer we come to understanding God, the more peaceful the world will become, and the rate of spiritual progress will increase.
What all mankind needs to understand is how futile it is to make gains of a physical nature at the expense of spiritual development. The only thing we take with us at death is the spiritual content of our soul.
